Below is a step by step guide on how to set up your Vector Evaluations+ product.
1. The Basics
You want to make sure you've had some type of exposure to what the product is and what it can do. If you have sat in on a demo or had exposure to the product in some other way, go ahead and skip to step 2.
If not, we recommend that you watch the evaluator training video before continuing. These steps are admin-focused, so seeing the end result (the Evaluator experience) will provide context as you move forward.
If you ARE familiar with the basics, but are having trouble with the basic navigation (e.g. how to get from the administrator view to the evaluator view), check out this article.
2. Administrator Setup and Updating Permissions
All of your TargetSolutions platform users are automatically created in EV+ when we turn on your access.
As part of the EV+ integration with your TargetSolutions platform, almost all User Management will take place in TargetSolutions. Any name changes, profile group changes, etc. to existing users will be automatically updated in EV+ and any new users added within TargetSolutions will be automatically added to EV+.
There are 2 exceptions. One is creating System Administrators of EV+ and the other is setting up evaluator permissions.

3. Form Building
Next, you'll want to identify how you will use EV+. You will create the forms that your evaluators will use within the EV+ Forms feature. Here are some helpful articles for creating new forms:

We recommend using a TargetSolutions Activity to deliver Evaluator training to your evaluators. The article linked below contains a training video and additional help resources for your evaluators.

5. (OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED) Introducing the EV+ Mobile Application to your Evaluators
We highly recommend encouraging your evaluators to use our Apple and Google Play compatible mobile application to complete evaluations. The workflows are simple and should not require training. The article linked below contains further information.

6. (OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED) Set Up Credentials to Organize and Track Your Evaluations
You may already be using TargetSolutions Credentials to track training requirements within the platform. Credentials are also frequently used to create and manage Task Books.
It's easy to add evaluation forms to existing Credentials to track skill evaluations and other types of performance reviews!
For instance, you can create a Monthly In-Service credential to organize pre-course TargetSolutions training courses, an Activity for tracking the training duration and narrative, along with all of the skill sheets that will be used during the event.
Using EV+ for Annual Performance Reviews? Create a Credential that automatically renews each year and add any yearly required compliance courses (sexual harassment, OSHA-based safety refreshers, etc.), plus the form or forms you've built in EV+ to capture the reviews.
And of course, position task books where skills testing is required can easily be added to a Credential.
