The platform features an eye-catching Notifications system that alerts Administrators and Users when an upcoming task or event needs attention. The Notifications system icons – one for Administrators and one for Users – are located along the very top of the website and can be clicked on from any page in the platform.
Users
When a user clicks the "See My Notifications" option, it will take them to their Notification Inbox.
From their inbox, they can delete notifications by clicking the X on the right hand side. When a notification is deleted, it will go into their trash folder located in the top header.
Here are the types of notifications a user may receive:
Credential Alert: These are set by administrators and provide users with an expiration alert when a credential is set to expire in a specified amount of time.
Event Creation: If an event has been made available to that user, they will get a notification upon the event’s creation.
Event Edit: When the details of an event have been edited, the user will get a notification informing them of the changes.
Course Due: On the day a course has become due, users will receive a notification alerting them if they have not yet completed it.
Custom Activity Due: On the day an activity has become due, users will receive a notification alerting them if they have not yet completed it.
Comment from TargetSolutions: Notifies users when an employee from TargetSolutions has responded to a course comment or suggestion.
Validation Rejection: Users are notified when a validation has been rejected. The alert will give users instructions for correcting the issue.
Activity Recorded: Users are notified when an activity has been recorded as complete on their behalf.
Administrators
Administrators have the same notifications as users as well as additional administrative notifications.
Administrators also have an Administrator Inbox which includes notifications regarding new enhancements recently released by TargetSolutions as well as alerts set up for Administrators.
Additional notification Administrators will see:
Administrator Credentials: Administrators are notified when an alert meets criteria specified in the custom alerts area of Credentials Manager. Administrators can set these alerts for credentials, courses, activities, or any other item they wish.
