Report Scheduling Options

Using our Report Scheduling feature allows Administrators and Supervisors with reporting access the ability to set up a report and have the system run that report automatically – as often as you would like.

Listed below are detailed descriptions of each of the scheduling options available:

Daily: This option will run a report each night.

Weekly: This option will run a report each week on Saturday night

Monthly: This option will run a report each month on the last day of each month at night.

Quarterly: This option will run a report on the last day of March, June, September and December at night.

Yearly: This option will run a report on the last day of each year at night.

Weekly Month-to-Date: This option will run a report each week on data from the appropriate month. For instance, if I scheduled a weekly month-to-date completions report, at the end of the first week I would see the completions that took place the first week of the month, at the end of the second week I would see completions that took place both the first and second weeks of the month, and so on.

Monthly Quarter-to-Date: This option will run a report each month on data from the appropriate quarter. For instance, if I scheduled a monthly quarterly-to-date completions report during January, at the end of January I would see the completions that took place in January, at the end of February I would see the completions from both January and February, and at the end of March, I would see the completions that took place within the entire quarter.

Monthly Year-to-Date: This option will run a report each month on data from the appropriate year. For instance, if I scheduled a monthly year-to-date completions report during June, at the end of June I would see the completions that took place from January to June, at the end of July I would see the completions that took place from January to July, and so on.

Run Report Option: If you choose 0 for this option, the report will run on the last day of the week/month/year.  By choosing an offset of 1 or more days, the report will be run that many days after the last day of the week/month/year.

For instance, if in June you schedule a completions report to run monthly with an offset of 3, your report will run on the third of July. The completion data will be from June 1st to June 30th.

We recommend using the offset feature especially if your organization uses Record Completions. The offset provides users with a few extra days to get training entered into the system before your report is ran, making it more accurate.
