TargetSolutions Releases Three (3) New and Updated Courses

TargetSolutions is pleased to announce the release of three updated and new courses! We have a new Nose Bleeds EMS course. This course covers the necessary information when responding to epistaxis, which is important when understanding critical airway and breathing functions as an EMS responder.

We also have an updated Medical, Ethical, and Legal Issues EMS course. This specific course covers the laws and legal issues EMS personnel may encounter while in their profession. It also aims to protect EMS personnel from civil and criminal actions.

Finally, we have updated the NFPA 1021: Company-Level Training Fire course to meet industry standards. This course covers the ways in which to successfully train fire companies and departments. All these newly released courses are an effort to maintain and improve our current course libraries.

Below are detailed descriptions of our new and updated course we have released:

EMS/CAPCE

Nose Bleeds *NEW*

-This new EMS course offering covers everything needed for basic training on responding to nose bleeds (epistaxis). The course materials cover medical conditions associated with epistaxis, assessment, diagnosis, management and potential complications of epistaxis, patient transport with consideration of destination decisions, and more. 

Medical, Ethical, and Legal Issues

-This updated version of a popular and important topic covers topics such as laws that affect EMS personnel, scope of practice, duty to act, negligence, obtaining patient consent, and advanced directives. 

FIRE

NFPA 1021 Company-Level Training

-An update to this widely-used course includes in-depth look at how to train fire companies and departments successfully and effectively. Topics include training responsibilities, developing a training plan, multiple-company evolutions, live fire training, physical training, and more.
