TargetSolutions is proud to announce some exciting new updates! We have 2 newly updated Fire courses and a brand new EMS course coming to the course catalogs. Our widely used Fire courses were updated to meet industry standards and be as current as possible. These courses include NFPA 1001 Fire Behavior and NFPA 1021 Incident Scene Communications. Both courses are 100% video-based and utilize excellent animations.
In addition to our Fire courses, we have a newly developed EMS course that is an important addition to our course catalogs. Our Mental Health for Emergency Responders course features powerful interviews from EMTs and paramedics that explain their experiences around the issues of mental health in their fields.
Mental Health for Emergency Responders *NEW*
-This newly developed EMS course examines the warning signs, coping skills, perceptions, beliefs, and resources with mental health for first responders. This course utilizes several interviews we filmed with three different and paramedics. Their powerful and candid interviews highlight the experiences they have had that involve the frequency of human tragedy, workplace perceptions, the culture on mental health, warning signs, and more. Refer to slides 6, 9, 10, and 24 for those impactful interviews.
NFPA 1001 Fire Behavior
- This course is one of our most widely used NFPA courses we offer. Fire Behavior examines the chemistry, classes of fire, fire flow path, development, the effect of wind on a fire, reading smoke, and more. This course is 100% video-based and features some intricate animations of fire chemistry, development, and reading smoke. Refer to slides 2, 12, and 25 for those animations.
NFPA 1021 Incident Scene Communications
- This course is another one of our widely used NFPA courses. Incident Scene Communications discusses the different types of communications, the elements of a communication system, how to communicate en route and post-incident, and other important topics. This course is also 100% video-based and utilizes animations, practice exercises, and case studies.
