When creating a custom certificate, you may want to resize your signature and logo images so that they present nicely on your certificate.
Note: Your computer must have the Microsoft Paint application in order to resize the images in this way, which is an application pre-installed onto all Windows computers.
In order to resize your image, you must open the Paint application. Open up your logo/signature image by clicking the button highlighted in the image below and then clicking Open. You may then select the image file.
To change your image size, click the Resize button.
To ensure that the logo presents nicely, make sure that the logo image has the dimensions close to horizontal: 300 and vertical: 300. As highlighted below, make sure that you Resize by Pixels and uncheck the box 'Maintain aspect ratio'. Once you have resized your image, click OK.
Note: If you are adjusting the size of your signature image, make sure the image has the dimensions close to horizontal: 400 and vertical: 100.
Once you are done, you may click the same button you used to open the image in the upper left corner, and save the file to your computer.
