If you want to keep track of the number of training hours a specific instructor has completed in your department.
Here's how to:
1. You may create instructor specific activities that instructors may complete separately.
2. When creating an activity, you may include Instructor as a reportable component. Then you may run a Completions Report that includes Instructor under the Component Column.
A best practice for Instructor fields is to set an expectation of how you want the entry to look. There are two main ways to do this:
- Modify the component under Manage Components to make this a multiple choice field. Click here for instructions on how to do this.
- Set an entry format expectation (i.e. Firstname Lastname) so your entries look similar for the most part.
Both of these methods make sorting and filtering easier later on when it comes to getting a list of what an instructor has taught.
